Cosmic Nexus is a minimalist momentum indicator designed to show market direction with absolute clarity. It is built on a refined MACD core, using fast and slow exponential moving averages combined with harmonic signal smoothing, but strips away noise by converting momentum into a binary histogram state. Instead of fluctuating values, the indicator displays only two conditions: bullish expansion or bearish contraction.

The histogram operates in a normalized range between 0 and 1. Cosmic Ascension (green bars) represents positive momentum where bullish pressure dominates. Celestial Descent (violet bars) represents negative momentum where bearish pressure is in control. This design makes trend shifts, momentum flips, and regime changes instantly visible, even in fast-moving markets.

Cosmic Nexus is fully non-repainting. All signals are calculated on closed candles only, and the alert system is locked to completed bars to prevent false or repeated notifications. Direction-change alerts notify the trader when momentum flips from bullish to bearish, bearish to bullish, or returns to equilibrium.
