RSI Momentum Pulse is a smooth momentum oscillator built from RSI, designed to clearly show bullish and bearish pressure around a zero line. Instead of the traditional 0–100 RSI scale, RSI values are centered at zero (RSI − 50), creating a “pulse” effect that makes momentum shifts easier to spot. The indicator plots a smoothed main momentum line, a dotted signal line, and a color-changing main line that instantly highlights bullish (green) or bearish (red) dominance.
How to use:
The indicator is displayed in a separate window with a zero baseline.
When the main line is above zero, bullish momentum dominates; below zero signals bearish momentum.
A bullish signal occurs when the main line crosses above the signal line and turns green.
A bearish signal occurs when the main line crosses below the signal line and turns red.
Strong moves are confirmed when momentum stays on one side of zero with expanding distance from it.
Best used as a confirmation tool with price action, trend filters, or higher-timeframe bias.
Works well on intraday and swing timeframes; higher timeframes give fewer but stronger signals.
This indicator is non-repainting and suitable for momentum confirmation, trend continuation, and early momentum shift detection.
