Intergalactic Arrows

Intergalactic Arrows is a precision trend-shift and momentum-pulse indicator designed to mark high-probability BUY and SELL points directly on the price chart. It is built around the interaction of a fast and slow EMA, enhanced with an adaptive “echo” smoothing process that filters out short-lived noise and false crosses.

Instead of reacting to simple EMA crossovers, the indicator measures the pulse between the fast and slow EMA and compares it to a smoothed historical echo of that same difference. Only when momentum expands beyond a defined threshold does a signal become valid. This makes the arrows selective, stable, and well-suited for trend continuation and early reversal detection.

Signals are displayed as clearly spaced arrows above or below price using ATR-based offsets, ensuring clean visuals even during high volatility. Built-in alerts (popup, sound, notification, email) trigger only on confirmed, closed candles, preventing duplicate or repaint-style notifications.

How to Use

1. Signal Logic

• BUY Arrow (Aqua): Appears when bullish momentum overtakes its prior echo and exceeds the signal threshold.

• SELL Arrow (Yellow): Appears when bearish momentum dominates and breaks below the negative threshold.
  Arrows are plotted only when direction changes, not on every bar, reducing clutter.

2. Trade Execution
Enter trades at the open of the next candle after an arrow appears. Signals are strongest when aligned with the higher-timeframe trend or after a pullback into dynamic support/resistance.

3. Filtering Tips
For best performance, avoid ranging markets. Combine Intergalactic Arrows with a higher-timeframe EMA, structure levels, or a momentum filter for confirmation.

4. Exits & Management
Opposite arrows can be used as exit signals, or manage trades using fixed risk-to-reward, structure-based stops, or trailing stops.

Recommended Timeframes
Works best on M5–H1 for intraday trading and H4 for swing setups. Default settings are optimized for balance between speed and signal quality.
